Mac ‘n Cheeseless

Very excited I have been trying to make this Tyramine free Mac ‘n Cheese recipe all week and have finally done it. I have again created it out of looking at many recipes all over the place. I hope you try it, it is quite tasty.

1 Leek
2 Cloves of Garlic
salt and pepper
pinch or two of citric acid
1/2 cup ground roasted sunflower seeds
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Cummin
1 tsp Coriander power
2 Tbsp Rice Flour
2 tsp Arrowroot (Tapioca Flour)
1 cup of Broccoli you can add anything you like grated zucchini and carrot
3 Tbsp Butter (or vegan marg)
1 1/4 cups of Milk (cow, rice, soy, oat)

Macaroni Pasta (Gluten Free – this one was from Aldi)

Put pasta on to cook.
Cut up leek finely, gentle sauté with 1 Tbsp of butter, salt & pepper & citric acid.
When the leeks are soft and translucent. Add the final 2 Tbsps of butter, turmeric, cummin, coriander power & sunflower seeds. Once that is mixed through add rice flour & arrowroot cook for two minutes before adding the milk. Add drained pasta and broccoli, stir through pour into oven proof dish. Can be eaten straight away if you cook the vegies through for a minute before adding the pasta, or Cook 200° for 20 minutes.
